Leslie Sousa Profile Photo

Leslie Sousa is a Christian author and breast cancer survivor who has learned that some of God's greatest transformations occur in the places we never would have chosen for ourselves.

Diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer right before the COVID pandemic, Leslie walked through chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and radiation. Along the way, she learned what it meant to truly sit still with God, surrender what she couldn't control, trust God with the unknown, and walk by faith and not by sight.

Today, Leslie writes about the deep faithfulness of God that she came to know firsthand in the hardest, and sometimes humorous, moments of life. She has learned that joy can exist right alongside grief and loss, and that even in our darkest moments, there are glimpses of God's goodness all around us.

She is the author of three books and lives in California with her husband and their much-loved pets.
